Funds Management
IndiEnergy’s intention is to form strategic partnerships with leading funds management institutions to provide a collective, tailored service to our clients. Whilst many players in the funds management industry provide similar mainstream services including portfolio management, investment, monitoring and reporting, we will be taking the relationship a step further. We will be actively involved in:
- Working with Traditional Owner client groups to identify goals, future aspirations and preferred processes
- Determining which service provider best suits our client’s needs
- Developing a deeper client relationship so that service providers can concentrate on what they do best – portfolio management
- Active interface between the client and fund manager to maintain a clear, simple, strong and sustainable process
- Developing a unique, tailored reporting and communication process
- Utilising IndiEnergy’s strong community engagement and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to crystallise relationships
- Providing transparent and accountable reporting
IndiEnergy has began discussions with a major investment bank but is keen to investigate all opportunities with other interested parties in the funds management area. We are seeking to partner with institutions who are full service fund managers, with expertise in all major asset classes and at least 20 years funds management experience. We will be looking for strong client focus, disciplined investment processes and dedication to innovation which can be tailored to suit the needs of our clients. A unique approach of tailored communication, learning and governance is something that we are seeking as an alternative to the usual service or frustration that clients experience.
Property Development
Acure Asset Management
IndiEnergy has a strategic partnership with Acure Asset Management to investigate and formulate property development investment opportunities in the Indigenous and resources area.
Acure Asset Management Limited is a Perth-based property investment and development company founded by Mr Angelo Del Borrello. Before launching Acure, Mr Del Borrello was the founding Managing Director of Aspen Group for nine years. During his tenure Mr Del Borrello was responsible for driving Aspen’s growth from a listed shell to a leading property funds management business by acquiring properties across commercial, industrial, and retail sectors, accommodation villages and land development worth $1.4 billion.
Lusona Capital – Investments and Corporate Advisory
IndiEnergy has a strategic partnership with Lusona Capital to investigate joint asset acquisitions and capital raising from Australia and Asia. The relationship was forged from previous work with Carnegie Wylie/Lazard.
Lusona Capital was founded in April 2011 as a principal investments and corporate advisory firm focused on the Asia Pacific region. Through a network of high net worth individuals and institutional investors, Lusona has access to capital ready to be deployed in specific situations. We assess all investment opportunities on a deal by deal basis subject to our core investment philosophy.
Lusona also has an experienced team of professionals capable of providing advice on corporate acquisitions/divestments, capital raisings, strategic reviews and managerial retention plans. The current headquarters of Lusona is in Sydney, Australia.
